The unique bolted version allows quick disassembly of the shell for easy access for cleaning, maintenance, repair or replacement. The plate joint design and welding are rugged and tested for numerous cyclical conditions. Plate material, absence of gaskets and mechanical/structural design allow for use in many aggressive applications. Plate & Shell Heat Exchangers can be configured to meet the needs of process requirements in terms of transfer units, pressure drop, design pressures and temperatures as well as piping specifications. The Plate & Shell Heat Exchanger is compact, with low weight providing an extremely small foot print.
